A few words about Soul Desires Catering

Soul Desires Catering is a family operated catering company specializing in Southern Home Cooking. Our recipes are original and have been passed down over the generations. Whether it is our crispy fried chicken, soulful collard greens or sweet candied yams; our food leaves you with a soul filled with life and the feel of a loving mothers’ hug.

While growing up, I watched my southern mother cook all her meals from scratch. I can count on one hand the amount of times she used a recipe or even a measuring cup! As I helped her dice, peel and mix ingredients, she also instilled the importance of cooking a home cooked meal. She explained that food not only gives the human body its much needed nutrients and strength to get through the day, but it also has a way of bringing people together. Over time, I realized that there are a great deal of people who haven’t had the chance to experience a “good ol’ soul replenishing” meal. I took this as a challenge to bring the full joy of my heart to the life of others through food.

At Soul Desires Catering our food is prepared from scratch with the love and passion to please the taste buds.
